I’d get 10p a week for my 9p comic (2000AD) and a Fruit Salad or a Blackjack. That would be about 85p in today’s Money.
2000AD Comic now costs £3.99.

Thoughts.

1 - This isn’t going to stop VAR controversy is it?

2 - Only satisfactory way to use VAR is as an appeal system - each Mgr to have 30 seconds to appeal a max of 3 VARs per game for Goals, Pens & Card appeals.

3 - Keep Haji - he’s on for an 80 goal season if this ever comes into play.

Just seen the first ever goal awarded by the “Daylight”
Offside Rule piloting in Canada.

The scoring player here in White is onside because his big toe is level with the elbow of the defender six yards behind him marking someone else.

Greetings from Mumbai. 3AM here and I was travelling into the airport when the game was on. I got sat down in the lounge and got a stream just as Torp took that Free Kick, Bobby Banged it in and the SBA went wild. Super stuff.

I always said @Trampbeater would return when we got back up…

Just imagine, going to a game and knowing that should we win or draw that’s the points to take us up to the Premier League?

How will you feel?

Well, get ready.

Because it’s going to happen.

Soon.

Nice to have a change IMO. Different permutations of how things play out. The second Australian ones remain unassailed as the most amazing.

Jeepers Creepers that sounds very strange and must have been a terrible experience. I hope it’s well behind you all.

Could you ask them nicely to be more considerate and do less BBQing, and think about the effect of the smell and the smoke on you?

They might not be aware that it’s such a nuisance to you and might be more neighbourly if you asked them kindly and politely?

Or is that not likely going to go well?

Ah. Answers my own question. Clearly any disability benefits are less than a working wage.
Ignorance on these basics and people spouting otherwise on Telly got us most of what’s regrettable about modern life. Looks like this is the new “small boats” / “Roma/Turk Invasion” / Islamophobia thing.

So, he says if you are signed off with depression/anxiety preventing you working you get more than the standard dole or minimum wage. Is that correct?

What are the facts on this?
Is there any breakdown of age/illness for incapacity benefit that show an uptick like that mentioned?

Or is it rubbish?

Every day so much terrible selfish thoughtless behavior goes on, it’s hard to bear. But if it’s any comfort you can be sure that there are many more caring and selfless actions from kind people taking place. I for one have to hold to the notion that there is still more good than bad in the world.

“Tricked by Business.” It does seem something of a racket. In an age where political & business forces are out there hammering the narrative that the BBC Licence Fee is low value & should be abolished it’s another clear sign of how we are all taken for idiots, usually correctly as it turns out.

That’s a good question.

An image of a Shiba Inu breed dog named Kabosu sitting with front paws crossed with a very curious look on its face.

What a good boy. Does he get many “meme-dog” comments?

Soon, we will be able to have audio directly streamed into our aural cortex connected via STARLINK from any source, transmission wavelength, or to any other Citizen fitted with such a device just by what we currently call “thinking” via NEURALINK. Then it will be nice and quiet for all of us.

Good on you for letting it out. You know it’s an absolute certainty that all will pass, just like all the times you have overcome before. Keep going!
