Wednesday's cartoon for The Mercury Newspaper: E-waste

It really helps! Especially with colour planning. (Mainly because you’re stuck with what you lay down - well, at least with watercolour, that is!)
I’ve just been playing around with these brushes for years now, so I’ve got a handful of go-to brushes that I always use. Every now and then I actually use physical watercolour paint just to remind myself how it naturally looks.
I’m pretty sure there are other similar brushes that can be downloaded, though.
I got some photoshop watercolour brushes a few years ago that were designed by Kyle Webster. He’s designing for procreate now, though.
Yeah, it kind of works in a very unexpected way! Almost like the pressure is getting more intense.

It’s wonderful!
Thank you! I wore mine yesterday and intentionally walked through a large group of cruise ship tourists down in Salamanca. Jon would’ve been proud.
Seeing the outpouring of love and gratitude since his death has made me realise just how extremely lucky I was to have him as a friend. He always had time for a chat no matter how behind on a deadline he was. (Which was quite often, now that I think about it!)
