Iām sorry maybe itās just the angles or whatever but the Coachella livestream of the Turnstile pit is very funny, it looks like they are playing musical chairs

New England has its own flavor of dirtbag chic. we can be proud of this. embrace it. works just as well in context.
my takeaway from the Wednesday gig is that too many people are trying to do Realtree camo in Boston
"environmental justice group going all-in on AI" feels like an April Fools story but I don't think it is! incredible!
New today: @reveleth.com has spent over 10 years obsessed with so-called āgender verificationā tests. Proponents claim they have history and science on their side. They donāt. www.coyotemedia.org/the-olympics...
It was an absolute honor to make this tifo - our first - for our Boston Legacy FC, and see it take flight before kickoff at Gillette Stadium on Saturday. The design honored the team's swan crest and important locations for its first year, featuring landmarks from Foxboro, Rhode Island, and Boston.
working on this thing for the past couple months has been one of the most fun micro-obsessions of my adult life. tough start on the pitch today, but enormously thankful for my new and old friends in @bostonisa.bsky.social and for my cityās @bostonlegacyfc.com era šš¦¢š¤

3/13 update: today iām selecting cabbages and peppers to Kris Kross
this entire exercise has been the new low point in making soccer a disposable product for empty suits instead of actual fan communities. Of course the same people who've blown every opportunity for Soccer in New England for 30 years are in charge. www.bostonglobe.com/2026/03/10/m...
I want to talk about why AI-based mass surveillance is so dangerous, and why I would oppose it no matter which party or president is in office.

#nicar26 I think itās been 10 years or so since my first NICAR, so itās appropriate that my hotel bar DJ is playing Chance the Rapper rn.
very thankful for everything Iāve learned and everyone Iāve met then and now and, on average, every other year between. š«”
these guys and I will be seeing ya at 2:30, #nicar26 !!
having used claude extensively for the past couple of months, i think there is still a lot of value to understanding your code and steering it intentionally. the amount of incidental complexity claude accumulates otherwise (which mostly results in bugs that it can't ever fix reliably) is staggering.
Taking off for #NICAR26 in Indy soon! Come find me if you want to talk about frontend tech, data graphics, design systems, CMS hopes and dreams...
Also, I spun up a music festival grid-styled look at the schedule, if this is helpful for anyone besides me: www.tylermachado.com/nicar-schedu...
I'll be at #NICAR26 next week, and I am so excited to once again to be leading the "Building your first SvelteKit data app" hands-on demo. Now with more Svelte 5. But the same number of cats.
incidentally, what I learned from that ad is that the end result of Googling things to learn about them is the same as Googling things has always been, except now there are more color effects around the words, because AI
I will assume the discourse will be very respectful about the Turnstile sync in an ad for Google AI
Thereās something sad about how many blogposts are simply copy-pasted ChatGPT output now.
Itās not writing, itās content ā not voices, but outputs. When the only button you press is for an LLM, blogposts donāt earn applause, they earn scrutiny.

i genuinely think google maps ruined the experience of drivingāpeople think theyāre entitled to get places in 21 minutes exactly or whatever the fuck the app says and they plan accordingly. leave a little early! take your time! chill!!!
it occupies a very different slot than any other Polar I've had (except maybe the briefly-lived Dessert Cart pack). I didn't like it at first but once I tweaked my expectations to account for that, it clicked
A six-pack and an example can of Polar Seltzer flavor Brown Sugar Clementine sitting on a butcher block
UNSPONSORED POST: the Brown Sugar Clementine seasonal Polar is a holiday delight, best dessert seltzer Iāve ever had. mix 3-4 parts that and 1 part eggnog (Hood golden, duh) for the easy mocktail of the moment
