It was an absolute honor to make this tifo - our first - for our Boston Legacy FC, and see it take flight before kickoff at Gillette Stadium on Saturday. The design honored the team's swan crest and important locations for its first year, featuring landmarks from Foxboro, Rhode Island, and Boston.

Is Boston ready for the World Cup? Or is the grandiose plan to host the planet’s biggest sporting event on shaky ground? - The Boston Globe It’s unclear if organizers will be able to pull off their grand vision, or if plans will have to be scaled back in the face of funding shortfalls and logistical snafus.

this entire exercise has been the new low point in making soccer a disposable product for empty suits instead of actual fan communities. Of course the same people who've blown every opportunity for Soccer in New England for 30 years are in charge. www.bostonglobe.com/2026/03/10/m...

#nicar26 I think it’s been 10 years or so since my first NICAR, so it’s appropriate that my hotel bar DJ is playing Chance the Rapper rn.

very thankful for everything I’ve learned and everyone I’ve met then and now and, on average, every other year between. 🫔

having used claude extensively for the past couple of months, i think there is still a lot of value to understanding your code and steering it intentionally. the amount of incidental complexity claude accumulates otherwise (which mostly results in bugs that it can't ever fix reliably) is staggering.

incidentally, what I learned from that ad is that the end result of Googling things to learn about them is the same as Googling things has always been, except now there are more color effects around the words, because AI

There’s something sad about how many blogposts are simply copy-pasted ChatGPT output now.

It’s not writing, it’s content — not voices, but outputs. When the only button you press is for an LLM, blogposts don’t earn applause, they earn scrutiny.

i genuinely think google maps ruined the experience of driving—people think they’re entitled to get places in 21 minutes exactly or whatever the fuck the app says and they plan accordingly. leave a little early! take your time! chill!!!

it occupies a very different slot than any other Polar I've had (except maybe the briefly-lived Dessert Cart pack). I didn't like it at first but once I tweaked my expectations to account for that, it clicked

UNSPONSORED POST: the Brown Sugar Clementine seasonal Polar is a holiday delight, best dessert seltzer I’ve ever had. mix 3-4 parts that and 1 part eggnog (Hood golden, duh) for the easy mocktail of the moment
