Rai's full name is Railen (no he doesn't have a surname for reasons) and redrawing his human design after all these years is making me sentimental as well coz of all the trauma I'm gonna dump on him x'D IT'S FOR THE PLOT I SWEAR

Rai likes collecting random trinkets and charms which he wears on his chain necklace. He swaps them out quite often and chooses which ones to use depending on his mood. Sometimes he goes with a theme and other times he just throws whatever he feels like on.

So, this ref here maintains his OG design with some tweaks as I still very much love him as he is and that's how he'll be drawn most of the time. Yes, I got AU problems with my OCs that I love them too much they appear in almost every AU and main story hakgfd

Over time though as I developed my OC stories, he kinda just snuck in and grew into his own character.The design he appears in that universe is still a WIP as I'm thinking how to balance it out.

Rai was originally just a Darkrai gijinka (taking a Pokemon and turning them into a humanoid/human design) that I created to just do silly things and hang out in my "brain". He's the voice of reason for me and those early art/comic based around it can be seen if you dig up my old art.
