my one creation so far - Worm on Da String cake. named UHHH cake for Gabreon's markov chain bot moller worm familiars. It's hard to see because of the game's added lighting, so please enhance. Despite the difficulty in making precise movcelemts with the joysticks, I think the part I drew (the worm itself and its googly eyes) came out well! custom items that you draw feels so overwhelming though. I wonder how much I'll be using it. I could try the joycon mouse mode, but it's not really the same as using a KBM-mouse for drawing, which is what I'm particularly good at.

this screen is from when I did the demo. Gabreon's sclera are face-painted on,. It looks great until she closes her eyes. Though then she kind of gives the impression of having sunken eye sockets or something. She's still looking leagues better here than her old 3DS incarnation... I need to maybe facepaint on her horns too, I'll think about it.

even though I had the demo my progression is a dripfeed while I focus more on adding folks, because I don't really want people rushing into dates before we have a huge cast yeah? But also I'm trying to level an alt in 14 for mogtomes so mii addition is also a slow going.

Gabreon somehow managed to invent a rank beyond Best friends. This feels correct. Also I gave her a laptop and she carries it around everywhere and talks to it. This also feels correct. Those two in the background are Christine my flagship ballerina magical girl OC and Chine the pragmatic half of Vaiyr. Christine's been befriending everyone by helping them after they fell on the ground. This Feels Correct.

Pheroc, the emo bard half of Vaiyr, displays exhibit 7392 of why Chine doesn't let him write in the Vaiyr Codex (He's great at storytelling fluff but his historical accuracy leaves a lot to be desired).

I had these two become friends by chatting about their shared interest in Gabreon - Something canon to my worldbuilding for sure, but definitely not approved by either of Christine's "bosses". "Have you heard the good word about Gabreon?" "There is nothing Good about her." Sidenote the nickname system is A GODSEND for me. It feels made for me specifically because my characters LOVE referring to ppl in all kinds of ways. For example here - Christine calls Hades "Mister Mekon" after his introduction as "mekonhaima Hades (note its greek for 'poppyblood') and he likewise tends to refer to her as "the muse" given her talents in dance and sketch art plus her latent power of enhancing the magic of others around her/being able to use the magic abilities of powerful beings she befriends. Then there's shit like Hades and Gabreon calling each other Hati and Aion. Only thing is I can't get Chine to exclusively use the royal We. :(
