When reality and satire are getting a little too close to one another.

I honestly haven’t paid much attention to he career but remember when we were linked to him while he was at Monaco. Is a poorly performing Madrid still better than our current United squad? 🤦🏻‍♂️

Champions League return would bring Marcus Rashford and Andre Onana issues for Man Utd Man Utd want to qualify for the Champions League but if they do it will make Andre Onana and Marcus Rashford harder to sell.

It seems Champions League wage bonuses are pretty common but I find it a little bit crazy that players who had nothing to do with getting us back into Europe will get a 25% pay rise next season. Surely that’s a loophole that needs closing.

That’s a clear issue for sure.

This one is intriguing. It’s a bit worrying when Madrid are willing to offload a player around their prime age, but his profile could partner well with Mainoo. And it sounds like Real are looking at Rodri so maybe they need to make some room in their midfield?

All those players were better than Dalot. They were also surrounded by world class players with PL & CL winning experience. We’ve got one world class footballer, a few good ones and the rest are perfectly adequate. It’s no surprise where we’re at. Our owners have lowered the standards so much.

I don’t know about you but I don’t want any of our players to referred to as “perfectly adequate”. 😂😉
We need better than that if we want to improve.

Fair point.
But United are notoriously slow at conducting transfers and this is now more business they need to get done in an already shortened window because of the WC. And we’re probably in a sell to buy situation so does this hold up potential incomings?

Any club talks that uses a phrase like “disrupting the transfer market” deserves fail miserably.

I suppose anything I’d possible but “good planing” and the Glazers/Ineos have never been two things I’ve put in the same sentence. This would be like Jason Wilcox making the jump from basic maths to quantum physics within a few months.

Yeah, not really surprising in the least.

Memo to United: never do business with Barcelona ever again.

It would completely shock me. United are a club all about PR, they’re going to announce anything the moment it’s done. They sacked Amorim because he wanted another midfielder but we’re to believe they’ve had one in waiting this entire time? They’d blow up their 3 yr plan for one player? Insanity.

Not dialed in on UK politics but it seems like a recurring theme in the western world that a conservative fucks things up so badly that a liberal government spends half of its time in power trying to steady the ship while still being blamed for the damage done by the previous administration.

The Brighton manager said multiple times in the fall that Baleba’s attitude fell off after not getting the move. Brighton are a selling club, the thought they would hold someone back for a sale seems absolutely insane to me. He’s just been really poor this season.

Comparing Baleba and R9 in any fashion will definitely be the funniest thing I’ll read today. Thanks mate.

Baleba did agree personal terms last summer.

Ahhh, didn’t know that’s where that rumor originated from. Jammy little goblin.

I think that extremely optimistic but you never know.
I think Onana will be extremely tough to sell because of his wage. Doesn’t help that he’s getting a raise next season because of being back in the CL (which is absolutely mad btw. His absence is one of the reasons we’re going to qualify 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️)

Ederson has been linked to us for at least a couple of years. No surprise there.

Do we know what’s going on with Yoro? There were reports last week he was done for the season and now he might be back next week? 🤷🏻‍♂️

From the limited viewing I’ve seen of Stiller, he looks promising. His price will inevitably rise but he’ll still be cheaper than the other 3 mentioned.

23 hours ago 2 0 1 0

Sure, but like I mentioned in the other reply; I’ve been seeing similar stories for the past few weeks. These ones aren’t a one off.

Do you think we’ll raise a lot of money from sales this summer because I’m not so sure. The only fairly certain one at the moment is Rasmus. Who else can we realistically sell?

Rashford?
Zirkzee?
Ugarte?
Bayandir?

These 3 stories aren’t in isolation. Similar reports have been circulating for several weeks.

I see the plans for our big summer midfield rebuild are moving along fantastically. Baleba it is then? 😂😂😂

Sure, mathematically. But the odds of any of the chasing teams going undefeated the rest of the season and us not winning again are incredibly small. I’m probably one of the most cynical people on this app and I’m not sweating CL at all anymore. Next season however….

I think he fell out with the board very similar to what happened with Rueben. Didn’t like the way they were micro managing his squad. He also got linked to City while he was still at Chelsea and I think that upset a few people.

Can’t see him being there next season. It sounds like their fanbase have fully turned on him.

Coachella is trying to wipe all of the footage of The Strokes protest set so I’m gonna post it here. The last images on the screen made me cry.

I’d suggest reading @sarahkendzior.bsky.social
She’s been detailing the Epstein Israel/Russia crime ties for close to a decade. Both of these are chilling reads.
