Again, who in Iran is agreeing to this? The regime has said lots of things for 47 years.
Plus, while faces have changed, the regime itself has not.
Unless that happens, any “deal” will be IMO fleeting.
The hardliners with the guns — Vahidi & the IRGC — remain in power.
Reading between the lines, Trump’s messaging here is likely aimed at Vahidi, Zolghadr & the IRGC honor— get on board or else.
Time will tell IF they do & if they support Ghalibaf & Araghchi’s deal with Team Trump.
I’m still not convinced they will, but I could be wrong.
Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, declared the Strait of Hormuz open for all passages.
That’s good.
But will Vahidi, Zolghadr & the IRGC honor it?
Time will tell.
