With any EV, the only ball ache is having to plan charges when travelling far distances (which we rarely do tbf). We had a charging point already installed before we moved in, which was a plus. We also have a special tariff with Octopus to make charging overnight much cheaper, so worth looking into.

We have a BYD Atto 2 and love it. No fuss interior, rotatable screen with built in apps, voice command, app to heat up car, defrost and manage charging. Charging has worked out significantly cheaper than petrol (even before the increase in cost), and is a smooth ride overall.
