all the stuff i do when i color something, i’m constantly learning something new or playing around with it, and everytime i find a way that i like, i completely forget about what i did the next time i try to art lmaooo my brain just doesn’t retain info. maybe i just need to not try to finish stuff.

i’m also never not extremely envious of people’s ability to paint. i took art class in highschool and some (VERY LITTLE) in college, and man oh man, i learned nothing. like, my brain held onto NOTHING lol so just looking at other people’s art is justtttt me staring at every little detail lol

how do people color?? it’s incredible to see how shit like values and complimentary coloring gets expressed by different types of artists. or how people render and use textures to give life to what they’ve done. i’m never not impressed by artists both in black and white and full color.
