@tangled.org any plans to add authentication via Personal Access Tokens? A lot of companies actually disable SSH ports on their network. This seems like a genuine use-case.

I don't think Substack can take Twitter's place. I would love for Substack to be a more dominant player (more long-form content, please!). However, micro-blogging has its uses and Substack's equivalent of tweeting is really clumsy and integrated too deeply into the blogging platform.
Instead of breaking the code into smaller parts, I do the opposite. If something is hard to follow, I inline everything to see the actual flow. Then I start removing duplication, name things appropriate in the context of the work being done, and break into testable components wherever possible.
