They also accept trafficked humans as bell ringers! We had one outside our store who told us she didn't know what state she was in. We had to call the cops AND HIDE HER FROM THE PEOPLE THAT CAME TO PICK HER UP.
DO NOT GIVE TO THE SALVATION ARMY.
www.oregonlive.com/entertainmen... If you live in the Portland area, are a punk, and want to be in a movie inspired by the classic Rancid album, take a look at this.
For those seeking to interview Global Tetrahedron CEO Bryce Tetraeder about the purchase of InfoWars, please know that he is unavailable. He is currently on his superyacht on his way to do a quality control check at one of 43,000 global puppy mills.
Please prioritize your safety, seriously.
Trump's legal situation is so insane now that I'm genuinely afraid that Americans will elect him again just out of sheer curiosity like how absolutely bonkers would that be
This has been one of the worst months of my life. I am trying to keep up with deadlines & motivated to do all the things freelancers need to hustle for, but it is so hard to do that when trying to support not only a loved one with cancer but all your other loved ones who are at breaking point.
Cancer diagnosis stuff (not my own) meant I didn't have the spoons to pitch after episode 2 last season, but I am so excited to try again. If you haven't listened to the show it's like nothing you have ever heard before and I highly recommend it.
"I trained at RADA." The intro alone is amazing, but the sheer awkwardness of every contestant on this series is going to make such a unique, hilarious result.

IMHO Americans are - in general & comedians more so - too independent & competitive. This must be taken into account to make a US version work. I wouldn't go with regular standups, but people who know how to work with others to make a show funny/stronger: comedic actors, SNL cast, improvers, etc.
I'm sorry I haven't responded to your email. I have READ your email, planned a response, stewed in the guilt of not having responded, but still lack the wherewithal to do so. Hopefully, I'll find it soon. Life is kind of a lot right now.
I don't know her personally, but having read @ceilidhann.bsky.social (Kayleigh Donaldson)'s stuff for years and knowing she's an expert in both film and romance, I have to throw her name in the mix.
I need someone with either film criticism or romance writing expertise for a nonfiction book about rom-coms, please be able to demonstrate both humor and razor-sharp analysis, jzimmerman@quirkbooks.com, marginalized writers encouraged, serious inquiries only, thank you
Gonna start transitioning my mindless doomscrolling time to this place. It reminds me of being in rehab, how the smokers among us replaced drinking with ALL THE SMOKING ALL THE TIME. Getting addicted to another social media platform isn't healthy, but at least it takes the edge off losing Twitter.
Oh my gosh. This is amazing. Yesterday was so hard emotionally since it was the first time I escorted my mother to chemo and I’m run down today. But seeing this support for my book makes happiness break through all that.

I cannot tell you how few copies these kinds of books sell, so your purchase has a massively outsized effect. I will send you a firstborn child. I don't have one of my own, so just someone's at random. That is how much I appreciate you supporting this book.
My latest, "Lady Undertakers of Old Texas" is out now. I did exhaustive research to learn about the personal & professional lives of the 150 or so women undertakers & assistants who worked from 1880-1930. What I found was fascinating. Please check it out!
