Furpile is a show of work by the seventy-or-so artists who submitted work based on this prompt. Furpile is an arts depreciation initiative. It is not enough to make cheap art. The bespoke stuff also needs to be much, much cheaper. We are still afraid to touch art. We are scared to use it after we buy it, like how we would anything else. At the end of its run, the sculptures comprising Furpile will be donated to various thrift stores…
