This is true about so many aspects of NZ society. Houses and expensive (and terribly built), if you're poor you get a moldy shithole. Groceries are expensive, if you're poor you go hungry. Power is expensive, if you're poor you go cold.

It is and it adds up. More important to me my son has health insurance as I have most likely passed on my genetic condition and once diagnosed, if uninsured, it’s basically impossible to get insurance after that.
Synthetic, I can’t touch wool, my skin can’t handle! But they were good quality, warm & super soft.

I think what happened is they were in containers that I thought were sealed, & it rained when shifting, and water must of got in, but Ive only found that out when I’ve gone to unpack the blankets as the weather has cooled. 😩

Very unpopular opinion: I think Green Party needs a single charismatic leader running an economic populist platform. I wish it wasn’t like that, but I think it is. In order to get good policy, you actually have to win first, or at least get enough numbers to have more say in a coalition. #nzpol
