I made yt-browse, a youtube channel search TUI
Filter by date range, use regexes, order results by views/duration/date, find playlists, and ignore shorts. Everything is cached; search is instant after an initial load.
it's like search, but for youtube

ssh is an obscure but widely-deployed command. It stands for Secure Snake Home and was made in the 90s to securely play snake online
I made a massively multiplayer backend for it with support for thousands of concurrent snake players
ssh snakes.run to join!

I got this question so many times I think I need to make a FAQ section for ChatIS... Weird there's not an OBS help page for this (judging by a quick skim).
This is the "fix" for chat lines being too long or too short in ChatIS. Just resize it to the size you want, ChatIS wraps chat lines.
Resizing from the outside is an image transformation, like you would stretch and squeeze during video editing. Resizing in the settings adjusts the actual size of the browser window being used to render the page.
In OBS you should *not* resize browser sources from the outside, using the red border. Browser sources are resized in their settings, where you enter width and height in pixels, those are the dimensions of the browser window that's going to be created to render out the page.
On desktop I sort of gave up and just route all Bluesky traffic via a proxy (using FoxyProxy, matching the URLs), so I'm not sure if I would have any notice for failed likes there, I assume not, besides checking the Developer console Network tab.
Of course I can, after noticing the posts not loading, turn on a VPN and then go through my feed in reverse, reloading each liked post to check if it's actually liked. But is that really worth my time? No.
I just saw a post I definitely liked yesterday, but the like didn't go through (and soon posts stopped loading too, naturally ending my social media session for the day). But there's no way for me to know which likes are UI cache and which are actually committed to the server.
Can the Bluesky mobile app actually tell me when a "like" or other network request fails? Intermittently, depending on how my ISP feels I guess, Bluesky becomes unavailable for me, and there's not much I can do besides using a VPN 24/7, which is kinda complicated and I don't want to...
Blocked how? ๐คจ
It's not side loading, it's just installing apps. Don't let them gaslight you, "side loading" is not a feature - not being able to install whatever app you want is a restriction. There's no difference on the technical side, it all installs just the same.
Screenshot of the Grass Touching section of the Anisota Harvest page with the orange dot fully to the right (Offline). Left to right, marks are: Online, Balanced, Offline. You're a "Daytime Poster" with 0 posts/day
This means I don't have to go outside, right?
I watched both seasons for the first time last week after reading the original comic back in 2024, made me immediately go read it again from where the anime left off. Very much enjoyed watching, the animation is great, especially pleased with the Ant King fight ๐คฉ Will definitely watch season 3.
How is that new page real...

Yes, learn it
There's an issue tracking the idea, you can follow it for any updates, but no promises.

Should flip all text in the terminal upside-down.
Scroll position randomly reset after backing out of a post in Following? Guess it's time to close Bluesky and get back to work
New personal research todo just dropped... I think it's my dream to have a 100% reproducible declarative build and deployment system, and this looks like something I might want to look into, besides all the other cool stuff on my todo list...
I think I just have the Ethernet connection as the only automatic one.
Taildrive via WebDAV via davfs2 doesn't exactly fill me with confidence...
sshfs, we're getting more cursed. On each node, mount all other nodes.
Email newsletters should put proper short summaries at the top of `text/plain` in `multipart/alternative` for push notifications to show. Email clients should prefer `text/plain` content for notification text.
