Always worth reposting these 2000AD art guidelines from time to time. Anyone wanting to work as a comic book artist, for any publisher, needs to take all of these onboard...

I don’t “network,” I make friends. Other artists are not my competition, they’re my beloved peers and sources of inspiration. We all have the same goal; to share our art. I’m not gonna corporatize my human relationships with them. I am in my sandbox playing and I hope they join me.
They're a lot of fun! Very different experiences despite the similarities.
The Messenger. The less you know going in, the better. Everyone should play it, but if you were a fan of the original NES Ninja Gaiden games, you should have already beaten it ages ago. Go! Download it!
If you weren't alive or don't remember, new SNES games were $80. I saved up before Super Mario RPG came out so I could get it immediately. Had a blast with it. A frequent replay.
Super Mario Bros 3 was a favourite when I was little. Played through it so many times. Always used the flutes to take different paths to world 8.
Unfortunately, Goemon's Great Adventure thinks trans people are the height of comedy. Otherwise, super fun sidescrolling platformer, at its best with a player 2.
The thing I love about PlateUp! is that it's all about countering the complications by making the most efficient kitchen. It's very zen for me as an autistic person.
Never played any of the Civ games, which I believe Humankind is akin to, but some online friends were talking about it, and it was on sale when I looked it up, so I gave it a try. Put a lot of my strategy into seafaring. It's very important for the midgame. Lighthouse of Alexandria is a must-build.
Overcooked 1 & 2 will make you screaming angry at your friends, and yet it's a great time.
You wouldn't even know the Chrono Cross soundtrack was composed by the same guy who did the one for Chrono Trigger. It has such a particular sound that fits its tiny setting. The track for the Dead Sea/Tower of Geddon perfectly evokes the emptiness of frozen time. Dragon God battle music is amazing.
Kefka is such a dick. Cartoonishly evil in the least boring way. Straight up laughs at your inspiration speech before the final battle and argues with the heroic ensemble about whether they have any hope. Said final battle is based on Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy!?
Clive says:
-Community is our true strength.
-No one is free until everyone is free.
-Destroy vertical hierarchy.
-Fuck God's plans, we make our own choices.
-God doesn't know what it means to suffer as we do, but he WILL.
OKAY, SO... YOU GRAB STUFF AND THROW IT, BUT YOU CAN ALSO SHAKE THEM TO POWER THEM UP. THERE'S A BOSS YOU FIGHT BY THROWING HIS FIST BACK IN HIS FACE. YOU CHASE A MOTORCYCLE-RIDING WOLF ON A WEIRD CAT WHILE CATCHING HIS MISSILES AND THROWING THEM BACK. YOU GET THE CAT'S HELP BY BEATING IT IN DODG...
Legend of the Dragoon deserved better advertising. I'm glad it at least has cult status and a remaster. Love the addition system, and if it were improved upon, I think it could have become a more common style of turn-based RPG.
With certain fans, you could either have zero fun getting your ass kicked in Halo's multiplayer, or zero fun kicking their ass in literally any other fps while they complain about how it's not as good as Halo.
The president has been abducted by aliens. Are you a bad enough dude to wrestle genetic abominations and what it means to be human?
I always describe Hybrid Heaven as a wrestling RPG. One-of-a-kind combat system. Really neat. Intense boss music.
Goldeneye: Rogue Agent is nothing like Goldeneye 007, so the name felt like fan bait. The thing that surprisingly rules about it though is the complete lack of inventory. You have only the guns in your hands and your bionic eye, and it makes for the most fast-paced fps.
Hollow Knight is simple, yet challenging. Beating it felt like a huge accomplishment. I never defeated Absolute Radiance in Godhome, but simply reaching her is a point of pride.
Seiken Densetsu 3 (Legend of the Holy Sword 3), sometimes referred to as Secret of Mana 2 among English-speaking players of translated ROMs, and later given the more appropriate title Trials of Mana for the remake. Choose a party of 3 out of 6 heroes. Your main determines the final areas and bosses.
Painted environments. Beautifully elaborate and unique character designs (Pokiehl especially). Evocative soundtrack. For a game that's practically a collection of side quests, Legend of Mana feels like a work of passion.
Rose bears the burden of killing those who can't be reformed so Sorey won't lose his spirit of goodness. Then the game lands the setup perfectly when Sorey drags himself across the room to where the defeated Geldalf sits, and drives a sword through the villain cursing his name. Really impactful.
Lot of people consider the storytelling of Bloodborne, DS, etc to be their biggest flaw, but I know many fans such as myself consider it a major appeal. Piecing together mysteries of a collapse after it's taken place. Learning to see through heroic myths. Sharing your theories with fellow players.
It's a fine game. It just had some really obnoxious fans.
a 4 panel comic with someone kneeling at a table. the thought bubble says 'I gotta stop sitting like this, I'm gonna fuck up my feet' they sit regularly and then grimace
The survey is back up!! Maybe they increased capacity. Have at it, share around!
I can't believe it. Someone found the perfect way to describe me.
Belated birthday art for Violet Hope Cat. They wanted their two OCs stuck in a familiar location. They wrote a wonderful story for their DA post. www.deviantart.com/violethopeca...

I have to assume they're talking about the quicksand group feed. Either way, they're just being rude for the sake of being rude. Don't respond, but maybe block, that should get you out of their feed!
I'm not joking when I say mRNA technology is more important than "AI" and it's a tragedy we're throwing billions into one while our government is aggressively defunding the other.
