I remember the only time I’ve ever been in an executive box at Old Trafford. Friend of a friend invites me. Ended up being the boring David Moyes game where United crossed the ball an obscene 81 times and drew with Fulham. The owner said “never fucking bring that guy back again” 😭

You’ve jinxed their form today!
@fplraptor.com let’s hope the guy you told not to sell Kluivert listened!
Ok so turns out I’m staying at a murder house. Send help if you don’t hear back.
Change of plan:
96% of children in Gaza believe death is imminent, while almost 50% "wish to die" due to relentless genocide the US and Israel continue to inflict on the Palestinians, says War Child Alliance. These are unrivaled numbers, borne only from Israel's unrivaled evil.

My three year old son says:
“I don’t like Santa Claus”
“Oh no, why mate?”
“He SNATCHES you with his CLAWS”
“😂 No it’s CLAUS, he’s a good guy”
“Why does he watch me when I’m sleeping?”
I think he’s now terrified of Christmas cos he think some Kruger type figure is counting down days till he visits.
Leave some cool trailers for everyone else Derek! Your output is too good!
Thanks so much to the @nvmuk.bsky.social for sending back my custom MV2 Air Force 1s! Only worn once before at the MV2 launch party seven years ago and again tonight for the MV3 launch! @ustwogames.bsky.social
I was really worried people were going to rate it negatively because they don’t like subscriptions. But this is a massive win!
So what’s the consensus on how old a profile pic can be? When is it catfishing? I keep saying I’m gonna get new ones done “when I look better” but that day never comes 😂
Now I’ve definitely got to make time to play this on the weekend. Congrats on launch mate! ❤️
So nostalgic seeing you tweet (message?) about monument valley mate.
Thanks man hope you’re good!
Oh yeah I’m not very online anymore but yeah there’s a three month old girl called Marla 😂
Things that have happened since MV2.
* Stepped down from CEO to be closer to games
* Met my partner
* Bought my first flat
* Had 2 kids
* Had some health stuff
* Had the pleasure of watching a talented team of people make a monument valley game without me being too involved.
7 years well spent ❤️
I got to make the trailer for Monument Valley 3! :D
If you have a Netflix subscription, go go go!

Got a new haircut ready for the Monument Valley 3 launch party! The game’s out TODAY, you can pre-install it NOW, for Free on your phone if you have a Netflix account! I was just freelancing on the game but I’m really proud of what was achieved. Go check it out!
UK studio Moth (www.moth.studio) teams up with @ustwogames.bsky.social and @netflix.com to create a beautiful short set in the Monument Valley universe.

My current mince pie per day ratio is about 12 in 10 at the minute. (Yes I broke and started before it hit December). A 1:1 is the aim, a good pace, become the Cristiano Ronaldo of pie eating. Waitrose “number one” pies winning atm.
The animated short for Monument Valley 3 looks incredible, hope people enjoy!!

Thanks! Special present from my brothers hands for launch :)
It was super great working with the team at ustwo Games! I'm now currently looking for new opportunities. If you're interested in working together you can take a look at my portfolio: ludicryan.com
A thing that always annoyed me about the popularity of MV, was that people felt like they HAD to say they liked it. Like they’d be deemed as low brow if they didn’t. Who gives a fuck, it’s ok to not like something. It means you made something with an identity and not mass market content slop.
But super appreciate the different perspectives (no pun intended 😂.). It’s completely valid and valuable to say, as a gamer who loves puzzle games, this doesn’t scratch my Echochrome bone (Echobone?). Think the post launch levels will be a good way to make that kind of player happy.
Interesting one this. It’s actually easier to create complex levels than it is simpler ones, but should we appeal to the gamer, or the casual player? Vision wise the target’s always been to make something that anybody could enjoy. But it’s not the prettiness that impedes complexity, it’s the vision.
Thanks mate! They actually got back to my email, so hopefully they come in time for launch! ❤️

Anyone got a good contact at the National Videogame Museum? They’ve still got my Monument Valley Air Force Ones!
10 years ago my playwright friend was bemoaning the fact theatres used to pay for first drafts from multiple writers. Then pick one and pay for it to be completed. It then changed to only buying finished scripts for productions and it decimated creativity and working class access. Same for games now
