Prayers in churches this Sunday, esp in Huntingdon, with all those affected by the distressing train attack last night. We pray for all injured and caught up in this.
Our prayers express love and commitment to living in God's ways of light & peace.

A PRAYER FOR POPE FRANCIS ON THE DAY OF HIS FUNERAL God our Father, by raising Christ your Son you destroyed the power of death and opened for us the way to eternal life. As we remember before you your servant Francis, we ask your help for all who shall gather in his memory. Grant us the assurance of your presence and grace, by the Spirit you have given us; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
A prayer for Pope Francis on the day of his funeral.
It’s a privilege to be in Rome today for the funeral of His Holiness Pope Francis, as we commend his spirit into the hands of our loving & merciful God. As we mourn with our Roman Catholic sisters & brothers, we give thanks for the life of this faithful servant of Jesus Christ. ✝️
Congratulations 🥂

Tonight I will be joining Ukrainian soldiers, training in Norfolk with the Irish Guards, marking this sad 3rd anniversary of the invasion of their nation.
We will say the litany of the dead.
Please join with me in praying for these brave soldiers, the people of Ukraine, and for a just peace.
That’s it, the year has turned, spring is coming

Fab to perform at St Mary’s, Totnes last night, while storms battered the gothic windows & tree-tossed shadows played about. All very Eve of St Agnes. Thanks to Ant Wilson for this photo, showing off the sublime c15th screen, and me de-tuning. #savethelistedplacesofworshipgrantscheme
