Four years into building a decent sized residential garden and finally logged all my plants today. In addition to kicking myself for not doing this sooner, I discovered that I've had a less than 1% failure rate so far and that I should really work on my propagation game this year. 🌱

Some are worse than others. They usually perk up pretty quickly, though I have seen them after a year as snowy as this yet. I think a little cleanup around them will also help give them a little more light and air to perk up.

The long melt is on pause here for a couple days, but the smells from the Vermont Flower Show are helping me get through.

This is the best thing I've heard in a very long time.

Made this today as my first foray into baguettes. The outside was, uh, rustic, but the interior didn't suffer despite my clumsy shaping and scoring. Fast too - made in the moments between a Tartine dough and done before that dough was even on bench rest. Win win.
