#Steam needs to make sure that these Game Developers are not inserting malware into their games. People mostly trust Steam and Valve are a safe monitored Store. Things like House Flipper and a Trojan detection shouldn't be happening. No one is paying attention. False positive or not.

Grabbed House Flipper 1 for free on Steam for my wife just now as she really liked playing it on Xbox and the very first thing that happens is it get's flagged for having a file called csharp-assembly being a Trojan Virus. I know it's probably a false positive but I still can't allow it. #Microsoft

I strongly remain of the opinion that if you distribute a game via Steam and include a launcher, you are the actual devil. I don't care what online features your shit has, launchers shouldn't launch launchers. Not even for the excuse of "verifying ownership". Steam literally does that already. 😡

I've pivoted away from #Xbox console and on to #PC. Steam, Epic, Ubisoft, EA, even Microsoft / Xbox PC. They're all just Web stores. Whoever has the best price and Family Sharing agreement, makes no difference which one to buy from. Sony can go play with/by themselves all they want. #videogames

Nvidia's new DLSS 5 is impressive but it means that dev's are no longer encouraged to try and make good graphics when DLSS does it all for them. This leaves anyone not spending $5000 on a new GPU seriously behind. PC gaming only for the ultra rich. #Videogames #Computers.

Here it is. I think this is right. 😉 Had to be creative to get it installed in the too small case. It works though. Cpu temps down 30 to 40c.

I upgraded my gamimg PC with a CPU water cooler but had to Frankenstein it by putting the Radiator on the Outside of the case because it just wouldn't fit inside. Adapt, adopt, move on. It's working really well btw. Temps under load have dropped from 90c to 40c. No thermal throttling anymore.

Powers back. It only took 9 hours. Glad I had the generator. We watched movies on the laptop to pass the time.

Massive winds this morning and into the afternoon. Power finally went out about 1pm. Still no power now. But at least I've got the internet router plugged into the backup generator... and still lots of wind, although it's easing a bit.
