Drawing on my background in running labs, the guide covers the entire process - from sequencing samples to synthesizing RNA, using open-source software and benchtop lab equipment. My goal is to spark interest to find cures.

I’ve started using NotebookLM to turn my favorite robotics papers into infographics. It’s an efficient way to digest info, much like scanning a conference poster.

Here are a few of my favorites I've made:

HUGE: Google Colab can now run inside VS Code.
Which means you can:
- run ML/training jobs on (~free) Google Cloud TPU straight from VSCode
- use your favorite AI coding tools (Cursor, Cline etc) with your Colab notebook.
Just install new extension from Google - I tried it and it works.

Grout is a complete scam. If your shower didn't have tiny tiles, then there would be no shower cleaners, no sealants, no chalking, no mildew. Entire sections in Home Depot gone, all co's run by Big Grout.

High schoolers wear the same gigantic jeans that I wore in high school. Grateful but also a bit sad to have lived a full fashion cycle.

I've seen this on Bluesky and had to try it myself. The image below was the response to the prompt: "Show me a diagram of the US presidents since Herbert Hoover, with their names and years in office under their photos" Bravo, OpenAI, bravo.

AI Coding Tool Cline Has Raised $27 Million To Help Developers Control Their AI Spend Software developers are often frustrated by obscure pricing plans for the AI coding tools they use. With $27 million in new funding, Cline is developing tools to help them manage their AI bills.

Big congrats to @cline.bot on their $32M Series A raise! 2.7M devs strong and a great open-source product that doesn't degrade inference for their bottom line.
