So grateful for your advice. (My 10 year old was helping me file all of my literature last night & he got to your papers & said “MORE Braun & Clarke… and again… and again”🤣🤣)

I’d like analyse a subset of the data to build on the new theoretical ideas I’ve developed. Heard one study isn’t sufficient for a PhD in psychology but the amount of analytical work & theoretical depth feels like an entire doctorate in comparison to a traditional quants study.

Thank you so much- that’s clarified so many of my concerns. The two papers I’ve written have used different sections of the data & have generated new theoretical concepts & extended theory rather than describing. Had the RTA bingo card with me at all times, ha!

Would really love your thoughts @ginnybraun.bsky.social & @vicclarke.bsky.social - I’ve written 2 papers for my PhD from one qualitative study (analysed using RTA) but I have so, so much more to draw on & discuss. Is there a limit to how many times you can use one data set?

The BBC article doesn’t mention our campaign’s formal complaint with a 40 page annotated transcript of the meeting but I’m sure they’ll revisit with further details…

Now’s your time to act @rthonwesstreeting.bsky.social

Harmed families in Leeds & Sussex have had maternity reviews agreed. We know that’s a cheaper option than a public inquiry @rthonwesstreeting.bsky.social but, tragically, the level of harm in Oxford & the retaliation we’ve faced over the last 22 months more than warrants a PI.

You have to act.

JHOSC has now offered us a “facilitation exercise” with OUH, referring to “dispute resolution”.

What has happened to 760+ families is not a dispute to be mediated!

It’s documented, preventable harm compounded by a cover-up culture. JHOSC clearly don’t want accountability.

JHOSC held a private meeting with OUH on 22nd December 2025 about the media investigation by @channel4news.bsky.social & @newstatesman1913.bsky.social which apparently was to ‘reassure’…

We have asked repeatedly for an account of what was discussed. JHOSC told us no minutes exist.

4 days ago 0 0 1 0

…the errors within their complaint responses to us that they had to apologise for (apparently they were because we wanted answers quickly 🙄); their shut down of the complaints process; the staged ‘listening event’ that caused so much harm to me that I had to formally complain.

OUH told the committee it had made “numerous attempts” to engage with our campaign.

What they didn’t mention: the bait-&-switch meeting strategy they used; the ‘engagement strategy’ that was just reputation management & designed with someone who harmed us directly…

At that session, an OUH senior leader described OUH’s stillbirth outlier status & LAUGHED.

The stats arguments used to explain away the stillbirth rates were already accounted for in MBRRACE’s methodology yet JHOSC accepted it without question…

The January JHOSC session was convened in direct response to a national media investigation our campaign initiated. We weren’t told it was happening & weren’t invited to attend.

22 months of active campaigning by Families Failed by OUH Maternity Services & JHOSC has never once contacted us.

OUH has apologised for presenting incorrect stillbirth data to Oxfordshire’s health scrutiny committee in January. Inaccurate data is the least of what was withheld from that committee & Families Failed by OUH Maternity Services made that clear to JHOSC last week… 🧵

Take Action Join the movement calling for statutory anti-SLAPP protections to ensure we are all free to speak out.

The King's Speech is next month but there's still time to prod and push the gov to include an Anti-SLAPP commitment - that will mean parliamentary time will be given to this issue that already benefits from cross-party support. Here is a letter you can send to your MP - antislapp.uk/solutions/ta...

U.K. law currently only protects SLAPP targets in economic crime cases. This leaves patient safety advocates, campaigners, journalists, victims of abuse all still exposed to the toxic harm of SLAPPs. We need the King’s Speech to address Anti-SLAPP legislation.

Today is the #StopSLAPPs Day of Action. The Anti-SLAPP Coalition (who have been an immense support to me!) says: “Legal bullying thrives when no-one pushes back.”

This is personal for me. Myself & others are pushing back 🧵

Welcome - UK Anti-Slapp Coalition The UK Anti-SLAPP Coalition brings media organisations, lawyers, human rights defenders and other members of civil society together in solidarity with targets of SLAPPs

Anyone can be affected by a SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation)- campaigners & whistleblowers are particularly at risk.

If @wesstreeting wants to ensure harmed families can speak out, we need Anti-SLAPP legislation. #StopSLAPPs

First meeting for the Expert Reference Group that I’m a part of for the National Maternity & Neonatal Taskforce this evening. Keen to find out more about what role we will be able to play in improving maternity & neonatal care across England. #MaternitySafety #MaternityTaskforce

We so desperately need Anti-SLAPP legislation in the U.K.

If you’re unaware- a SLAPP is a Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation. They’re being used to silence & financially ruin patient safety advocates & whistleblowers.

Better NHS care at Oxford hospital might have saved 58 babies, BBC finds There are growing calls for a statutory public inquiry into maternity services in Oxford.

58 babies would likely be alive if they had received better care at #OxfordUniversityHospitals across a 5 year period.

Incredibly proud of the #FamiliesFailedbyOUH Maternity Services campaign for giving families a voice. We need a public inquiry.
