Today is International Day of Women and Girls in Science. 🧬👩🏼‍🔬🔭🎨 We’re celebrating the women and girls whose curiosity and care move science forward, and continuing to push for learning spaces where everyone belongs.

🧥 Find free clothes that work for you and pass along anything you don’t need. 👗 Bring clean, gently used items if you can and take what you need. 🏳️‍⚧️ Clothing, shoes, gender-affirming items, & more are welcome. 🎥 We’ll be watching a movie about clothes!! 🍕 Food will be provided.

Today we honor Georgia Davis Powers, Kentucky civil rights leader and the first Black woman elected to the Kentucky State Senate. Through her leadership and advocacy, she pushed for civil rights, fair housing, and education reform, helping shape a more just future for our state.

I learned more people than I thought were involved and hurt as well.
Now we're all fighting for justice that has been long overdue 🤍
