Splash: The Patriots are taking the biggest defender off the market, as Eagles DT Milton Williams lands in New England, per me and Mike Garafolo.

Williams gets a $26M per year.

Just seems crazy to pay him more than Stanley just got, but the Titans were desperate and so were several other teams. Good day to be a passable starting offensive lineman.

I'd guess Latham probably moves too, but they sure seemed to be selling that Latham was a LT in their eyes last year.

Dan Moore is a great dude. Huge deal for him. Even with how active the Steelers might be in FA this year, that could net them a compensatory pick.

Thrilled for Dan Moore Jr. From fourth round pick to $82 million, he worked hard, was a great teammate, and improved throughout his career.

Deserves the bag. #Steelers

This is a fair point. Playing in a division where you see Myles Garrett and Trey Hendrickson for a quarter of your games every season certainly makes life hard as a left tackle.

Dan Moore's career numbers against Myles Garrett (Browns) vs the rest of the NFL:

PFF Pass Pro Grade: 21 (Garrett) vs 66
Pressure Rate: 10.5% vs 7.1%
Sacks allowed: 7 vs 27

Moore is basically an above average NFL LT when he doesn't face Myles Garrett and a UPS driver when he does.

Really interesting to see whether the #Titans are planning to move Dan Moore Jr. or JC Latham to RT. Moore has exclusively played LT in the NFL. Latham, of course, played RT in college, but transitioned to the left side as a rookie, where he started all 17 games for the Titans in 2024.

WILD overpay. Moore has the most sacks allowed (34) and pressures (181) since entering the NFL in 2021 (per The Athletic).

That said… he’s coming off his best season to date and the Titans HAD to do something at RT. This is something, that’s for sure.

Very much a Vrabel type of linebacker (and obviously had first hand experience with him during Spillane’s first training camp in the NFL).

The Giants are signing former Saints DB Paulson Adebo, per source.

Ultimately, I think Robinson is a good talent evaluator who became too convinced of his own ability to consistently replace star talent in the draft and too willing to take big risks. Would be very interesting to see how he’d do with a second chance.

Robinson deserves a lot of credit for building the Titans from 5-27 in 2014-15 to a perennial playoff team from 2016-2021.

He also deserves a ton of blame for tearing that team down to what it is now.

Random recommendation, but Office Christmas Party is BY FAR the most underrated Christmas movie

Thanks for the support! Loved doing it and will miss it for sure. I’ll make Zach and Stoney have me on from time to time at some point.

Probably not. At least not in the foreseeable future. The writing/podcasting thing has always been a side gig for me, and though it’s something I love, I just don’t have time for it anymore as my business has grown substantially as well as having an increasingly busy 4 year old running around!

Hi Bluesky! This week I wrote about the two paths towards contending in the future for the #Titans and how far away they are from ends of those paths currently. Please give it a read 👇

Not a terrible idea generally, but I’m not the biggest McCarthy fan so I’d probably pass on that specific deal.

Naturally, Mahomes pulls off some magic and makes it work anyway. Dude is inevitable in these situations.

1:20 feels like too much time to leave the Chargers when they only need a FG to win. Surprised the Chiefs haven’t been more aggressive here.

Haha I think there is a really good chance that Vrabel will have success wherever he ends up next.
