And it's FAST!! The probe is traveling at 430,000 miles per hour—fast enough to get from Philadelphia to Washington, DC in ONE SECOND! It’s the fastest object ever made by humans, and with each orbit, it gets closer and faster as it slingshots around Venus.

Despite flying where temperatures exceed 1,800°F (1,000°C), the spacecraft’s instruments remain a cozy 85°F (29°C) inside, thanks to an ultra-advanced carbon-composite heat shield. That’s like standing next to a blast furnace with only a car sunshade to protect you—except this one really works.

It's the first spacecraft to “touch” the Sun—flying directly into the Sun’s corona, something no other mission has ever done, allowing scientists to study the solar wind and energetic particles up close, unlocking secrets about how the Sun affects space weather and even Earth’s power grids.

I like your point about informing the students/teachers upfront that it's AI. I think that's what makes it novel. And students especially need to see how AI can be used responsibly. Telling them "this is AI and we're using it as a tool in this way for this benefit" is an important lesson.
