I dont even think more time in the oven would have saved it. It was fundamentally flawed from the get go. The hubworld was boring and didnt actually play to ANY of Sonic's strengths. None of the game did really.

I never gave my OWN hot take but the only thing I think would be a "hot take" is I think Sonic Frontiers was a dookie ass game with a subpar story.
