Im probably spoiled by my current profession but there was nothing terribly 'creatively strange' about anything that happens in the book.
Is it just me? Am I jaded and cant enjoy a... pardon the pun, "series of unfortunate events".

Alright, finished reading The Hike by Drew Magary.
Frankly, one of the few times I disliked a media but felt that it was because I 'missed something' yah know.
A big ol list of "and then"s scattered with flashbacks of the past and... very mildly unusual visuals.
Going to be doing a bit more finalized work on #GorgeWorld Toonsville Tour, maybe discuss what I'll do 'after' that (gonna take May off as a break but still work on something 'small').
THEN play a bit of Sol Cesto, a VERY unique looking game.

While symmetry is beauty, there's a "grunge" to seeing asymmetry in a machine. A no nonsense elegance of "we didn't try and spend extra to make it symmetrical, it just happens to have this one thing off center and putting it center will just be for show, something we don't have the convenience for.
Such a difficult thing to nail down.
I had to tweak my old Flabmingo avatar a long time just to make it look right.
Absolutely nailed the weightless here.
Looks like they should have hired a different P.I., SnootSnoop is too much investigator for one precinct to handle.
