I can't stop thinking about all the U.S. states I've visited so far, with New Jersey and Delaware the latest (2010), and one state I visited, Arizona, with an embarrassing tale... (1/2)
Anywhere racing-wise other than California and Deanna (#61) instantly gets homesick.
She's usually around other competitors on race tracks around the world, and if she's racing in a car, she usually brings her Sonic the Hedgehog and PAC-MAN (emotional support) plushies/good luck charms (her words).
Forgot one - Five: Deanna (#61). Besides collecting replica racing suits from the likes of Jeff Gordon to female racers of the F1 Academy, Kyojo Cup and Iron Dames, she often brings Sonic the Hedgehog and PAC-MAN plushies, often leaving them on pit boxes or in her cars as good luck charms.
Fun Fact: Deanna was one of the characters I thought up when I was finishing middle school (8th Grade; 1999-2000). She was originally supposed to be the main character in a series I wrote in 2004, but it went on to be one of the biggest mistakes of my 31-year (creative) writing career.
This, Operation Neptune and Outnumbered! I saw in 3rd Grade in Mrs. Marshall's trailer classroom (1994-95). And I sucked at them. 9 then, 39 now.
They say "write what you know," which is why one of my main characters collects replica racing suits.
