This is a print I've been workshopping, alternate text with be "Protect Trans Rights."

Was struggling with a very bad bout of anxiety. Feeling a little bit better now and hopeful, I'll be able to be more active on socials again. Might do a silly little creativity exercise where I make little beaded bracelets to break back into making other than commissions.

If you have the means to help even a little bit you have no idea how much it means, whether that be 2$ or purchasing one of our prints, or a piece of beadwork that's currently available. I'm desperately hoping our roommate finds work by next month, but until then art & mutual aid are our options.

Right now our biggest concern is an <this is only for 2 months> overdue utility bill which is currently at 580$ our rent has been covered but this, along with car insurance, keeping our internet on and buying groceries is starting to give me more anxiety than reaching out for help. 2/?

Working on a commission of the Trinidad & Tobago flag 🇹🇹 Flags and straight lines are tricky, Overfilling can distort the edges and lines but underfilling can result in seeing the interfacing underneath. I'm still learning how to maintain straight lines in deceptively "simple" designs.

❤️❤️❤️ I can't wait to see it when you're finished, if you end up sharing it or feeling comfortable sharing it, I'd love to see it when it's done ✨️

My lines looked SO wobbly for what felt like forever! The thing that helped me through it is looking at examples of "historical" beadwork, looking at relatives work from 10-20 years ago really helped. They're work is gorgeous, and perfect in it's own way but it's different and it helps. ❤️

Being a slow beader is frustrating sometimes, I've been beading for over three years now and while my time has improved. It still feels frustrating to do in two weeks what some beaders can do in a day. I know it's because of multiple factors, including chronic pain... but it's discouraging sometimes

Large beaded earrings, a pink heart cabachon is the middle of the earrings. Lines of beadwork in alternating rows, featuring pink, red & cream beads surround it. There is a line of rhinestone banding as well. Pink alphabet letter beads spell out stone at the top of the earring and femme at the bottom. A pink rabbit fur pom pom is attached at the bottom of the earring. They are hanging on silver earring hooks.

Reposting some stuff today, no new work to show yet! But today is a beadwork set up day! I have 2 commissions and a special gift to set up today. Designing is done, so it's off to transfer them to bead interfacing/pelon, glue cabachons and pick out colours.
