Hired two full-time security guards to protect my fighting game medal collection.

I feel for the members of the VF community who are upset about the ECD nerf in VF5.

I respect how it was used at the highest levels, but I can live with/without it. I played a lot of VF3/VF4 when those were the only VF games with rollback, which have very different 3D movement.

There is pushback in this game. It's just that some of the frame data is wonky, and some attacks can be dash canceled for broken combos.

I've been almost exclusively posting custom combos but it's nice when you find a meterless juggle that does like 70%

I am at the grand opening of the "Church Arcade" here in the Pittsburgh area.

A really cool new arcade located in an old repurpased church. Vibes are immaculate and the game selection is great.

All American cabs, but a good variety of classics, shooters, fighters, driving, and pinball games.

The game has an unusual amount of content focused on the Dressrosa arc and the Gold film because thats what was being pushed in advertising when it was made. Thats why characters like Cavendish, Fujitora, and Gild are playable characters instead of others who would make more sense long term.

Even after not playing this game for about a year I was still able to perfect dodge 5 invincible guard break supers from Godku because I hate him and his red hair so much.

Man I love this silly game, still my favorite anime fighter after all these years lol.

Getting ready to watch the Elden Ring: Nightreign speed run on the last day of AGDQ 2026. NR was one of my favorite games of 2025, along with Hades II and Silksong, which are being run right after. Exciting block, great way to cap things off.

Once thought to be Lost-Media, Blader Crisis is a 2DFM game by Team FK, who would go on to make Fighters Kyodotai - and eventually Chaos Code, under the moniker FK Digital!

This forward-thinking title features an ABCS button-layout, with Personal Actions that vary from character to character!!

The arcade is decent, but im not sure its worth a long drive for that alone. I am enjoying my time at GDQ, but i am not the hugest speeding guy so I am not sure I would have went in person if the event had not just happened to be in Pittsburgh.

What do you MEAN someone put a "Toki Denshou Angel Eyes" board in one of the cabinets at AGDQ 2026?!?

Why is there an Evil Zone tournament at GDQ on Wednesday lol. Anyone got the Evil Zone tech to help me learn the game in 2 days? I think I tried it once awhile ago, it seemed like it was a proximity attack based fighter (like Psychic Force), so im not expecting much tech/combos
