Your series is good and I enjoy it! I hope you continue to post your excellent work! 😁
NICE my favorite part is that you can see water burbling up out of the ground. :)
One big political divide is between people who believe germs cause disease and people who believe Those People cause disease. It was pretty evident right away during the pandemic
I have been there, much sympathy in hard times

Let’s say I own a dog and you own a cat. I say my dog is worth $1M, and you say your cat is worth $1M. I give you my dog, and you give me your cat.
Now we’re not just pet owners, we’re millionaires.

Say what you will about the worst members of the Roberts Court, but they all make sure their wives are in on the grift.
Jane Roberts, Martha Alito and Ginni Thomas are equal partners with their husbands in the grand project of destroying the United States and enriching themselves in the process.

why would anyone walk in that river, it’s literally directly downstream of the Zoo and part of its drainage system
There’s a routine Jean Shepherd (A Christmas Story) did in the 1960s when he was doing standup in NYC clubs about how everyone all over the US, all over the *world* dreamed of being *there*, in a hot NY club in the center of it all.
“How’s it feel,” he asked his audience, “to know… this is *it*?”
I didn’t get to go down there today so ty for posting pics & vid! I was wondering how it was with all the rain today :)
Brackenridge Park is part of the water reclaimation system for the San Antonio Zoo and part flood control for the headwaters of the San Antonio River, so in heavy rain it submerges in stages. Supports some massive cypress trees too, as you can see (they’re very thirsty). :)

Photos I took this weekend of the Artemis II capsule being loaded onto a truck at Naval Base San Diego, headed back to Kennedy Space Center!

A mascot costume of the D&D meme "Three Kobolds in a Trench Coat"- in a long khaki beige trench coat. The top kobold is red in colour, wearing a hat, sunglasses, and a blue and green scarf. The middle head is blue, with two hands underneath it, and the bottom head is orange, with a grimace on his face. The orange feet support everything! This is a real costume being worn by a model.

I am delighted to show off the final photos of this behemoth of a project I've been working on since last year: the Three Kobolds in a Trench Coat mascot costume, for the new boardgame of the same name. You can see this in action at UKGE in May!

UT's leadership is not "submitting to political domination." The regents are all Republican loyalists installed by Greg Abbott to do whatever he wants them to do.
Texas universities will never recover unless the Legislature takes away from the governor the sole power to appoint university regents.
