During the pandemic, 5 yrs ago, my son & his partner wanted to get married in our yard. He wore his dad's wedding outfit, she a white dress from the closet, we made a cake, friend gathered some flowers & we ordered takeout. It was simple & incomplete, but the love and the beauty have stayed strong.
Today is an awesome day to call your senators and tell them to vote against the budget bill, and then, if you’re able, kick some money over to groups like Point of Pride, which funds the spectrum of gender affirming care for people who can’t cover it.
