Also you'll learn a lot of random things over time as you get into more and more pokemon games. There are a lot of really random and obscure interactions between abilities, items, moves, and weather that you'll learn about as you encounter them, which is part of the fun

The DLC is very much worth purchasing and will give you access to more pokemon, but also I feel like SwSh in particular thrive with their DLC. I don't think these games are that good without it.

Play it using whatever pokemon you like and whatever moves seem most interesting. Avoid looking anything up unless it's for pokemon evolutions (because some are really weird in modern games) and make sure to have as much fun as you can!!!

It's just that while there are a lot of good people, the really shitty people constantly put me off and unfortunately as an artist with a decently sized audience, I get a lot of them hitting me up in DMs and it's just tiring having to deal with another shitty person every week

I do get where you're coming from because I know a lot of really awesome people who are furries and they're all amazing, but there's also so much discourse over shitty people and the way people interact around minors and platform artists as perfect people just puts me off majorly

I would really like to be one, but unfortunately it's one of those cases where I've just constantly met some really shitty people over and over to where it's easier to just not identify as one overall
