It's very easy to complain about the price of sporting events, concerts etc these days but have to say im pleasantly surprised at cost of tickets for the URC final next weekend. β¬70 for 2 adults and 1 child incl fees. Bit of a bargain thanks to 10% discount on the URC site. #Leinster #URC #Ireland

It's a matter or perspective I guess, some people love it, some hate. Can say the same for St Patrick's Day festivities, and also for most bank holiday weekends in the summer for different reasons.
Not to everyone's taste but possibly hyperbolic to say it's ruins the city for "everyone else"
For political reasons or just because there'll be a lot of loud Americans?
In fairness, they spend a lot of money when they come over for College football, so there is an economic benefit.
Just joined an newly formed over 35s soccer team, and in the group chat - manager asked what positions we play.
Someone actually said "False 9", and I don't think they were joking π€£π€£π€£
Either a huge troll or...?
Might have to consider saying I'll be the "Regista".

Or is there a different way to make it more desirable for lads to move to Galway, Belfast or Limerick?
Many examples over the years of players moving and succeeding but for some reason the IRFU can't or won't put things in place to spread the depth elsewhere.
There have been numerous instances over the years where players have chosen to stay on the bench in Leinster rather than move, and I'm not sure what the solution is. Do we put a rule in that they can't get picked for national squad if they don't move? Some would see that as unfair.
Even if you took out Snyman, Barrett and Slimani, they probably would have a better squad than a combined Con/Muns/Uls team which speaks to the depth that comes through the school system.
The IRFU quickly needs to find a way to entice players from the Leinster bench to the other provinces.
Sounds good!!!
Colour me intrigued. Vanilla?
This is incredible! Have to keep committed to the bit
I think they're terrified of spending any money on it after the musical debacle!!!
The last thing they want is getting called before another Oireachtas Media Committee
But we should apparently be in favour of the CEO's family razing New York City to try and find the one killer, right?
Surprised it passed, there'll be the usual pearl clutching about people being on holidays during the summer etc, but great for the kids to get to play on long summer evenings
Because "Party sources" is almost always bullshit.
Either they didn't ask or they text someone the author knew in the party and they personally didn't know.
Two of the three are forgiveable....
What a sadistic plan, I love it

Bit of fun for a Wednesday evening.
What's your opinion that's most likely to cause the below reaction.
I'll go first...

Hurling is boring to watch...

I may be the only one using that verb, but I'm going to stick to my guns!
One image goes a long way to explaining why Ireland is among the most nature-wrecked places on Earth: sheep + sitka.
If Ice Cream isn't healthy, why do they send it to space with astronauts and give it to you in hospital after operations???
Thank you, I even messed up the #SpeirGorm π

David's right - the Inquirer is the best newspaper in Dublin if you're interested in news about Dublin!
Bit of a Robin Hood for some people. Willing to overlook his crimes as most were against blue collar targets (Bank Robberies etc) as he's paid for the local boxing clubs, football pitches, basketball hall etc.
Don't think he'll get in, but for an area with such deprivation in parts, I'm not shocked

The left splits our vote. If you're on the left, you have greens, SD, Labour to decide between, then PBP, R2C etc further left.
If you're on the right, you have FFFG centre right, then really only AontΓΉ as a "credible" pro life party. 33% voted to keep the 8th, so would make sense a chunk vote Aontu
