Mtb every time . I’ve just given away my hybrid and I wouldn’t even consider a road bike . I need stability and wide tyres . I don’t care that it won’t go as fast as a road bike .

We used to go to the ditch nearby and wade to get bulrushes , or go to derelict land and climb on anything climable 🤣
