Clubs are getting more efficient in their financially questionable practices 😅

An utterly remorseless evil bastard, but you couldn't help but love him.
Oh was it Madrid, not Barca? Or did they both do it?
One feature that has been on my Dream House plan for my entire adult life and, I suspect, a fair chunk of my teens, is a study/library with a big-ass leather top desk, floor-to-ceiling bookcases with a brass rolling ladder, and a secret bookcase door leading to my "safe"* room.

IIRC, Barcelona pulled a similar trick a decade or so back - they sold their youth facilities to the Barcelona city council for an amount that just so happened to be exactly what they needed to avoid financial penalties, and then leased it back on a hundred-year lease at peppercorn rent. Football 😔
If we beat Wolves next week and Everton don’t get beat by West Ham we are out the bottom 3. It’s far from over.
For those who may have missed this earlier in the day-
We are in a relegation battle and here we are laughing at Arsenal....
We are shameless and petty....
And I have all the time for it.
Hahaha
City away? Easy peasy....
At what point do we ask whether Saka and Rice need to leave Arsenal to win trophies?
Who the hell is dumb enough to think it’s okay to racially abuse Kevin Danso after yesterday’s game?!? (Or to racially abuse anyone at any time for that matter)
Sometimes people drop way below what should be expected from modern society.

Kevin Danso has been subjected to racist abuse that is criminal, dehumanising and completely unacceptable. This happened during No Room for Racism weekend. The irony is not lost on us. Proud Lilywhites stands with Kevin, without qualification. Racism has no place in our club, in football, or anywhere else. To the people who did this: you are Spurs fans. That makes this worse, not better. What do you think you're gaining? Racism isn't passion, it isn't frustration, it's targeting a man's humanity, not his football. What you have done is a criminal offence and we hope you face the consequences. To X, Instagram and the other platforms: this is on you too. You have the tools to act. The fact that players are still being subjected to this level of abuse tells us everything about your priorities. Do better. Much better. We are one community. All together, always.
We stand in solidarity with Kevin Danso.
Friendly reminder we still have not won a game since our great recruitment team sold Brennan Johnson and pocketed the money.

Beating Chelsea to escape relegation and help condemn them to mid-table mediocrity would be phenomenal.
It's utterly vile. No player deserves abuse, full stop, but the way some people think it's okay to single out and hurl slurs at non-white players is just so abhorrent.
Text reads: Olympics / The International Olympic Committee’s recent decision to reintroduce ‘sex testing’ for athletes is more likely to exclude women identified as female at birth than trans women, experts have said, as opposition to the policy change grows. Athletes, governments and experts have been objecting to the genetic sex testing that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) plans to reintroduce – including the scientist who originally identified the SRY gene that the tests check for.
The French government opposes the ban, saying enforced genetic testing is an invasion of privacy

Maybe I'm being over-zealous -and I'm not saying I'm *right*, it's just a personal opinion- but at this point I don't see many senior (>23yo) players that I think "Yeah, we absolutely have to hold on to that player". Micky is one, maybe Porro... the rest, if a big enough offer comes in, let them go.

Depressing, but also inevitable.
I wonder if a load of Black fans were laying into Kinsky after the Atletico game. 👀
We should have gone for Carrick when we had the chance.
Obviously if there are youngsters who just aren't up to the level we need, or don't fit the manager's style/system then sure, no sense keeping them. And if there are more senior players who are that level and do fit then they're worth hanging onto. But I do think a *huge* clearout is needed.
Absolutely agree with all of that. My thinking on "keep the young, cull the rest" is more about generating maximum funding while recognising that the younger players are going to be less jaded and traumatised by the last couple of seasons, therefore most worth building around.
Awful recruitment
Awful club management
Awful luck
Awful injuries
Any one of those is enough to derail a season (especially the injuries) but to have them all happening together is just mental. The quality is there, they just need a bit of belief and a bit of luck and we'll survive. But dear god 🥺
I for one would support a fire sale regardless of whether we stay up or go down. It's such a hodge-podge squad that's been poorly assembled according to some idiot (Lange) idea of what half a dozen very different managers need. Sell most of the established players, keep the youngsters, rebuild.
*other
Spurs should fire Lange and Vinai today. As a treat.
Lads are just broken mentally.
Frank should be arrested, he managed to drain all belief from them after a European trophy.
Easy af to fake... :3
