So let this be a good example that no amount of conversion therapy, homeschooling, or religious indoctrination is going to make your kid not queer. But yeah. If I had know about lgbtq+ things and been allowed to explore that, it wouldn't have taken to my mid 30s to start hrt.

Short answer is education and acceptance. I grew up in a conservative Christian home and the only LGBT education was, "it's a sin!" I didn't have a WORD for the things I was feeling until college. Even if I HAD known, I wasn't in an environment that would have allowed that. 1/2
