Huge thanks to the organizers of the @csmb-scbm.bsky.social meeting on proteostasis for giving us a chance to present our work. Awesome lineup of talks, the proteostasis field is healthy in Canada. Kudos to the federal agency reps for the discussion and for supporting biomedical research in Canada!

A fantastic collaborative story led by the Luciani lab at U. Zurich about the conserved role of ATG-7 in metabolism and kidney biology! Excellent work by our worm whisperer Adia Ouellette on the C. elegans fluorescent reporters and respiration analyses! www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1...

This sounds really interesting - sometimes it’s grantsmanship, but sometimes it’s simply biased reviewers (for certain Unis, networks, stages, etc.). The CSMB meeting would be a great opportunity to showcase your plan. I would be happy to chat over a beer(s) and see how we could potentially help!
