the Friedkins objective is to make Everton a major news item in world football, to re-energise the Everton fanbase & massively improve the footballing intellect within the club then Mourinho (assuming he is willing) is the obvious choice.

It's thought the loans are at base plus 2%, so around 7/7.5 %. Expensive compared to the deal offered but turned down by Moshiri in 2018/19
