Sometimes you miss focus by the smallest amount, aaaaaand manage to gouge the negative down the middle while loading into the Paterson for developing.
508mm @ f7 from inside 5ft is definitely tougher to focus than I expected. 😬

As someone with permanent damage from shooting loud environments, has tinnitus and now has to wear hearing aids to function...
Do yourself a favour and buy the best earplugs you can afford.

I haven't had this lens on an M body in close to a year, and had forgot how hilarious it looks.

Managed to tear the film off the spool on the 35th frame... Must have short loaded this one when bulk rolling.
Now for what seems to be a once a year roll rescue!

I guess the one bonus to not having an assistant around for pre-lights, is that I'll never have an out-of-date self-portrait.

Thanks! I have a Glimmer Glass 1 on that lens almost full-time, and I love how it blooms without tanking too much of the contrast in the rest of the image.

We only lasted about 20min and my autofocus was less than pleased with the situation, but we still had a good time.
