Omgggg yesss, I have been rewatching Seasons 1-3 (they finally got the rights back to the English dub) and now I have started season 4!

100% agreed! I liked a lot of the game but the final boss fight with Sigma was just gross. And if it was going to be gross, set up a health farming (or enough energy pills) to fill up my sub tanks to deal with the arduous battle ahead. So it was definitely a B to B+ game until Sigma made it a C+.
Volt Kraken’s design and movement was so so soooooo dang cool Iceblue!! LURVED IT
Hahaha! I was freaking out too until chat informed me of how it worked and then I was cool 😎 as a cucumber
That alone ALMOST ruined it for me, but alas I am a Mega Man fan and stuck it out and was rewarded with a victory around 7 hours in. When compared to X4 that took me 3 hrs 55 minutes to beat.
I am thankful for the experience and will brave X6 next!

MMX5 has good music and extremely fun boss designs! Yet that’s where the praise stops from me. However it isn’t the worst game so don’t think I hate it, but the game’s final boss fight is the second worst final boss fight for me only behind Mega Man 7’s Final Wily fight.

MMX4 cracks my top 10 favorite Mega Man titles of all time.
Mega Man X5 did a more back and forth dual pathing system but is woefully underwhelming. If chat didn’t warn me that your health upgrades go to whichever character grabs it first this review could be much more negative.

Mega Man X4 and its dual paths with individual cut scenes was extremely well done. Solid fights, fun and flowy level design and killer music.
