As someone in the video game industry: working on something for 4 years to only have it fail and get cancelled? Those are rookie numbers.

Confident in my ability to properly ship, I take the strait. I smile at my opponent. Supreme Leader Khamenei does not return the gesture. He’d be prettier if he did, I think. He fires. The rocket passes cleanly through my bridge, killing me instantly
"i could probably pilot a ship through the straight of hormuz" -next big thing 80% of men secretly believe about themselves
I was going to say, I think they forgot to colour time it.
Just wanted to say I really enjoyed Bravo and I'm looking forward to the new Kodiak novel.
Hey all!
As of today I'm no longer at WB and looking for a new role in the games industry.
My goal is, and always has been, to make cool games with cool people.
If you're looking for a Narrative Director or Lead who thrives on collaboration and is passionate about games story, please reach out!
I cannot emphasize enough that these people are being laid off for failing to do things that are literally impossible
I think the issue is that the term is a solution in search of a problem. What is the issue with "American". It's the term they use for themselves. If you need to refer to someone from the continent use "North American". As a Canadian using "American" to refer to me is wrong.
Yeah, this, it's weird to use a term for people they would never use for themselves. American is the word to use, there is no confusion. I'm a Canadian and using the term American to refer to me is 100% wrong.
“It belongs in a museum!” oh does it? the big box where if you look into it your skin melts all off your head and your body turns into a skeleton? you think that would make a fun exhibit to put next to the gift shop? at our museum where kids go?
I firmly believe that if we point and laugh at AIBros like we pointed and laughed at NFTBros one day we will also think back at AI and laugh.
Give him the Brit Awards Peace Prize while you're at it. At least you can say he made up with his brother, which isn't nothing.
every time a screenshot from this game pops up I feel beholden to explain to our younger readers that the Nintendo Entertainment System sold a Friday the 13th game in which Jason unambiguously kills a series of children, and you lose the game when you run out of children
Other than the lack of V/O narration, De Palma's Scarface fits this really well.
Frodo: I wish so much unbelievably stupid shit had not happened in my time Gandalf: So do all who live to see such times. This is all exceptionally stupid, though
Paddington in Godzilla Minus One (2023)
I Photoshop Paddington into a movie, TV show, or pop culture until I forget: Day 1765
another robot highlight for 2025: man wearing humanoid mocap suit kicks himself in the balls
I hope everyone has a cozy night with their loved ones this evening. I won’t, though, because I have to head up to Nakatomi Plaza thanks to my flippin’ boss scheduling the holiday office party ON CHRISTMAS EVE WTF (🧵)
And Michael Myers, who did not die...
I'm at The Donald J Trump
I'm at The John F Kennedy
I'm at the combination The Donald J Trump and The John F Kennedy Memorial Center For The Performing Arts
From the famous novel "Don't Create The Hunger Games"
The year is 2035. There are three game studios left. Each one produces a game every 10 years, killing 250+ developers in the process. They all accidentally make the same game because they used genAI in preproduction. They sell 500 million units each, missing quarterly targets. Everyone is laid off.
"Los Angeles police are investigating ... not as a medical incident at all but as a possible homicide"
Come on now, CBC. Trump was clearly saying he was killed by a supporter because he hated Trump, not from some mental disease/syndrome. Stop sane-washing this shit.
Amazing, something I've seen countless times in sci-fi movies, but in real life. Plus we also get the soulless cooperation run by evil tech bro loser as well. All our (monkey paw curls) wishes came true for us 80's cyberpunk fans.
It's absolutely this. Why does everyone who drives a BMW or an Audi drive like an asshole? Because you have to be an asshole to make enough money to own a car like that.
I assume this is your TV? The color looks a lot better, I guess that was just the OP's TV not on filmmaker mode, or their phone camera.
