i’ve been told they found lead in the water fountain at my elementary school so now people bring water bottles, isn’t it so great they found it.
(i drank out of that water fountain quite a bit hmm.)
we’ve just driven past my elementary school which NOW HAS air conditioning.
back in my day, we put wet brown paper towels on our foreheads and kept the lights off.

At Spice C (Chinatown, Philadelphia)
back in philly after an invigorating evening watching multiple tv local news broadcasts with my parents.
currently receiving a running commentary in who lives in every house in my parents neighborhood and what year they graduated from my high school.
Parents are diligently working their way through word puzzles in both the Inquirer and Daily News, which may or may not have the exact same word puzzles.
we’ve found aunt michelle. we are now filming the tv screen with our phone to send to aunt michelle.
it wasn’t in the 4 o’clock hour. we’re moving onto 5.

fun news: my aunt michelle might be on the news because they filmed a segment at her acme. so my parents have taped the news and are now watching it frame by frame like the zapruder film.
my childhood bedroom is now being used to store 5 different yahtzee games and a very large bag of pogs.

I don’t even know if I would call them towels at this point.
my parents have made a number of improvements to the home they’ve lived in since 1992 but they still have the same bath towels from ~1990.
