6/ @noaa.gov delivers remarkable value to American taxpayers. Dismantling it is an incredibly dangerous decision. 5/ What's happened so far? On Day 1 Trump cut off many of NOAA's grants, then Doge entered NOAA HQ where they accessed IT systems and started censoring the agency's work, just last week hundreds of NOAA's experts were fired without cause, and now DOGE is trying to cancel NOAA's leases across the US.

4/ Maybe the worst news of all: Our oceans are facing a new threat. DOGE is attacking NOAA. NOAA monitors ocean health, protects marine life, and prepares communities for sea level rise. Losing NOAA would be devastating.
