The proposed LLMs.txt has advantages in reducing costs and for documentation help bots and human to have a better understanding of the overall content. Whatever this is the final best option, I don’t know… Who knows, but it’s at least a proposal in trying to fix some inconveniences.

To solve those challenges and others, people are trying to come up with options. Calling it a bad idea undermines the people trying something… just this week, I had to block Googles IPs for hitting one of my websites, with hundreds of requests. Was it related to LLMs or not I don’t know.
At the moment, bots (including Google) are provoking an augmentation of requests of websites multiple times because they are parsing way more than before. Plus, an LLM in scrolling some pages will not have the full vision of the overall content, pages etc…
Ideally all websites in the world would be clean and fully accessible… that way humans and bots can enjoy navigating websites and understand their structure… but that’s unfortunately not the case.
Yesterday, I wrote a proposal around "llms.txt" and "robots.txt". Whatever it's a good idea or not, there is a need for the web to adapt to this new era of LLMs.

Dear American Friends,
Fighting for your values shouldn’t be just happening in Hollywoods Movies. If you don’t defend your rights and your democracy now, there may not be a tomorrow.
Just saying…
I was about to say the same 😅

The Front-End Checklist is between @vite.dev and Home Assistant... This is crazy!!
Thanks to oss.gallery for the view!
Hard take: the quality of tools ultimately depends on the skill and knowledge of the people using them.
There is!! But just didn’t want to say it out loud 😆
This has been an incredible journey! Seeing so many people using daily something that I originally built for my team in Mauritius in 2018. 🇲🇺❤️
I have been promising a V2 of the checklist for a long time. It's now planned for the coming months

This is nice! ❤️
For me this morning, the issue what that I had uppercase in my repo name. When I changed to all lowercase, it worked.
Really nice!
Nevermind, just had to wait 😅
Super nice! I guess not seeing my own badges on my posts is normal?
There is a lot to love on Bluesky, but building a network from scratch is painful…

I’m currently working on an open-source project that aims to help teams organize all the links to tools and environments they use.
What do you usually use to share those links between your colleagues?
