While solo recorded for Capitol and Columbia where she became a huge pop star with shows for NBC & CBS radio and television. Began a side career as Cinderella G Stump (around 1947) with Red Ingle to a country music audience. And with her husband Paul Weston was lounge act Jonathan & Darlene Edwards.

Jo Stafford began her singing career as a teenager with her sisters appearing on radio and some movies for 20th Century Fox before becoming the lead vocalist for The Pied Pipers who were recruited by Tommy Dorsey who she fronted his orchestra from 1939-44 before going solo.
