Haha my current project involves drawing old Paris backgrounds from 1900, and it satisfies me so much that it completely kills any desire to draw in the evenings when I get home, and that's just fine.
I don't have that many regrets; if the desire is meant to come back, so it will be 😊
That's exactly it.
it's not the genre itself, but the approach that becomes tiresome in the long run.
Exploring other horizons will inevitably create the desire to return once we've absorbed other worlds.
It's a bit like letting the ripening process take its course.
