Anne Hathaway bought the rights to a novel about a tradwife influencer who wakes up in 1855 and has to actually live the life she's been selling online. The book is called Yesteryear. It came out 3 days ago. The film rights were already sold to Hathaway, who will produce and star.

A midday siesta

Two men sit on a chair, one straddling it sideways on top of the other's lap, one leg dangling over the chair's arm. They lean against each other, the lower supporting the second, leaning into each other as if falling asleep, heads touching, limbs falling limp. Meanwhile the chair they sit in catches fire, threatening to consume them completely. One of the men regards the flames with unconcerned, open eyes, the other remains unmoved, as if the fire cannot wake him.

My OC, Urzu. An attractive dark elf with dusky black skin, lavender purple eyes, and long silver white hair styled partially down and partially in multiple braids including one thick one down his back. He wears a backless top, laced pants with severe side openings that show off his skin, and knee high boots in a Gothic medieval reminiscent style.

The character Eden, who belongs to Dovexii. An angelic androgynous-masculine being with multiple pairs of wings crouched down on a ground spattered with gold. They have dark skin, long curly white hair, and cyan and red eyes. They are garbed in a white flowing garment which pools around them on the ground, and gold jewelry. They are seen from a high vantage point, the character looking up and reaching their hand to touch some unknown surface, which ripples where their finger displaces it. This clear surface is covered with floating blue flowers and petals.

Yesterday I saw a picture of a Painted Bunting (Passerina ciris) and knew I had to draw it. They are really pretty.

I also had a good laugh when I realised they are called "Papstfink" in German, which translates back to "pope finch". Fitting for a member of the cardinal birdfamily 😄
