Can #VR build empathy? 👓
Our study explored how VR simulations of everyday environments (classroom, café, transport) can help neurotypical participants better understand autistic sensory experiences. The simulator software #Autismity was such an interesting tool to explore!

About the art exhibition: This exhibition brings together creative works produced for The Liverpool Autism Hub Art Competition, held in celebration of neurodiversity. Centred on the theme “My Neurodivergent Identity,” neurodivergent artists were invited to share their lived experiences, perspectives, and self-understandings through art. Across drawing, poetry, photography, and other creative forms, the works offer thoughtful and deeply personal reflections, reminding us that there is no single way to think, feel, or exist in the world. Visitors are also invited to take part by reflecting on their own relationship to neurodiversity and contributing thoughts or drawings to a collective artwork displayed within the exhibition.
Join us for an art exhibition showcasing creative reflections from neurodivergent artists. All are welcome to attend and engage! 💙
