This looks awesome! It’s very subtle. It might be fun to rotate the blur like when you record a wheel spinning on video and the frame rate doesn’t align. Perhaps shift lighting on wheel as it rotates? A crazy variation would be fun to see!

I recorded a bunch of syllables sounds in Audacity, then used the auto label thing to then export multiple files then a for loop to preload audio via Phaser. There are over 80 syllables and a cough.
The process and result is a lot of fun, I laugh a lot when building things.

For Fingerholers I thought it’d be fun to have talking characters. I was imagining the character voices from the arcade game APB. My initial recordings let to me thinking I could just line up a bunch of syllables and smash them together.

I’ve had this game concept for a while. It’s your standard spaghetti kissing game mechanic. You start by eating a big plate of spaghetti then, as you get to the end of your noodle, you realize there’s a character on the other end! That’s when you decide to smooch or not.
