"So it really creates a big problem, and I'm trying to figure out at this point what to do," Jenner added. "I don't blame President Trump. I love him."
I don't blame the face-eating leopard, I love him, says person without face.

"Be terrible if something happened to Leo, like colliding with an anti-Pope triggering a massive cataclysm."
My life hack for saving money was unsubscribing to the WaPost after they fired all their reporters and started publishing articles that make BuzzFeed look like pullitzer-level journalism!
(Though, I subscribed to Bloomberg immediately after and that's more expensive. I'm not great with money.)
Here in TX this year, was a stranger combination (which happens every few years, usually generating a lot of news though not this year):
MLK day and Confederate Heroes Day both fell on Mon, Jan 19.
Photo of young women mixing molotov cocktails in a backlot in Derry. Source says it's from 1969.
Such a time of peace and innocence, like this photo of young people mixing homemade lemonade on a parking lot.
My 15-month-old kitten Allie (Short for Allegra) enjoying a warming afternoon sun spot after a freeze last night. I haven't turned on the heat today, so it's pretty cool inside.
Sun kitty.
I like the obverse a lot. I've wanted to return to abstract, beautifully-designed Lady Liberty's for many years.
I'm mainly a viol player. We do have several makers in the US and Canada, but a friend has recommended a Netherlands maker and I want to get a smaller tenor, tuned as an alto (bottom string A). I'm in limbo because I'm afraid at any moment Trump might impose a 200% tariff!
I know, joke, but pretty much the only maker left here is Wim & Karen Wakker, which have closed orders because they had a 5 year (!) waiting list and it was increasing!

"jus in bello" GAH! like our troops are supposed to know what to do when it's in the ablative? Not to mention it could be the ablative of either bellus OR bellum.
But I guess all's fair in loveliness or war.
Dijon mustard! Latte salute!
I've only owned 1 pure Civic, a 97, but I think my 88 CRX, my 24 Integra and maybe 11 Fit should've counted. 84 Accord, no. But firmly on team civic! Gotta have a manual, too.
2nd period class at Conclave this summer taught by Wendy Gillespie, where she says of Robert Dow's partbooks (late 1570s, (Christ Church, Mus. MSS 984–988): "The Dow Part Books are a curated collection of beautifully copied polyphony from the hand of Robert Dow, the Allen Garvin of his day."
This class description... is a little embarrassing.
Pringles container, with ad copy above it: "ONCE YOU POP A GREAT AND TERRIBLE WHEEL IS SET IN MOTION, WHICH MEN'S VERY SOULS MAY BE CRUSHED"
I misread "wheel" as "weasel" and I'm 99% certain this would be vastly better ad copy.
"Security camera catches cat dropping mouse into human family's dinner" A beautiful news story from last October! https://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2025/10/15/foster-kitten-drops-dead-mouse-boiling-pot/7351760542204/
Infamous 1967 Donald Duck comic.

January 31! NEVER FORGET!!!!
I have no idea how you could never have heard that particular....
But, I had never heard the song "Hey There Delilah". Then I was in the grocery store late at night once and it was playing and I was OMG IT'S THE CTHULHU SONG but with love lyrics!

Wherein someone on X complains that Fell For It Again Award is based in Britain, and I counter that that should not matter a bit when it comes to excellent humor.
What triggered all the sudden likes on this after several months?
The account that created it should get the credit. Even if you're not still on the other site, they do very amusing work.

I love that series in a bittersweet way: my dad was an antique dealer.
When he had a heart attack in '96, I moved back home to help out, and we watched videotape reruns of that on the sofa together for what turned out to be the last few months of his life.
Yeah, curses, I just learned that this morning.
Did have a nice session with 6-part Ward fantasias & a 6-voice Clemens "non Papa" motet from 1555, but no craziness was missed.
I'm so glad I'm playing viols in a consort of friends tonight, so I have an excuse not to subject myself to this.
Presidents Day is exclusively a state thing, depending where you live. Federally it's still Washington's Birthday.
Maybe we can haul the FBI guys that investigated the Kingsmen's Louie Louie out of retirement and access their expertise?
Il pappapappapappapappapappapappapappagallo has been solidly stuck in my head for the past month!

Worthy of a King Crimson lyric!
"please don't jump on my lap please don't jump..."
Because, like Helen, Greeks hatch from an egg.
Murderball chonk?? My most recent kitten Allie, not even a year old, is definitely on a chonk path. Barely a year old and here she is outmassing my old cat Tom.
